WOD: June 8, 2018. DEADLIFTS!!

MAIN – CROSSFIT 

Such a great week CREW…. So proud of everyone, let’s finish the week out strong!!

WARM-UP:

* DROM: Dynamic Range of Motion 

* Mobility:  Posterior Chain

* Bar Warm – Up / Movement Review:

  • Deadlifts
  • Strict Handstand Push – Up Progressions

CONDITIONING WOD:

DEADLIFTS!! #strongertogether

3 Rounds…..

  • Run 800 Meter Run
  • 15 reps.,  Deadlift #275 / #205
  • 15 reps.,  Strict Handstand Push-Ups 

Measure: Time        CAP: 30 Minutes             

Goal: Athletes will pace run aiming for under 5 minutes, all scales will be relative. Athletes will be using a Deadlift load that is challenging, yet allows for deadlifts to be completed in 2-3 sets, doing so within a strong position. Athletes will complete HSPU in a strict manner, breaking the reps up early, to manage fatigue.

Appropriate Scaling: Athletes will be scaled in a manner that is challenging & relative, yet allows for stimulus listed above, such as; sustained position, capacity and skill.

Post WOD Cool Down

* Row 400  @ 50%
* Shoulders – Wall Stretch
* T- Cross – Posterior Chain
